PLAYFUL LEARNING WITH TECHNOLOGY
In partnership with IREX and generous support from the LEGO Foundation we are delighted to share a Landscape Analysis with 15 recommendations for introducing new models of play in under-resourced Kenyan classrooms. This guide is part of our work for the KPLAY project.
Think of this document as a prompt for brainstorming with your team, a whiteboard of ideas, a collection of design principles, or maybe even an inspiration for a future research agenda.
FOLLIES
Follies are big building shapes that kids can use to create their own art structures. You can imagine it as an affordable and creative alternative to playgrounds. It’s a toy that not only the children in your life will absolutely love but one that also serves children around the world that have limited to no access to play spaces.

In our work with educators in underserved communities around the world we have heard it again and again; I want to implement more play in my community but I don’t have the resources to do it. And frankly- it looks hard to do.
We created this free guide to address this need and help push the critical conversations around the Right to Play into more practical ways to do it, even when it seems impossible.
